7 men busted in child prostitution sting

A two-day undercover sting in Aurora put seven men behind bars.

The men, who have jobs ranging from handyman to cook to salesman to energy auditor, were arrested on suspicion of soliciting for child prostitution and criminal attempt to commit patronizing a prostituted child, according to Aurora police. Both charges are felonies.

The sting was led by the Aurora Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit last month. The unit was created in January.

"The unit focuses on identifying, investigating and prosecuting suspects who are actively using the internet to victimize children," police said.

Investigators said the suspects are:

  • Henry Pollreis, 58 years old, from Lakewood, CO, a self-employed handyman
  • Travis Atkins, 37 years old, from Parker, a self-employed driver
  • Francisco Vergara-Marquina, 52 years old, from Denver, CO , a cook
  • Trent Timbana, 30 years old , from Ft Washakie, WY, an energy auditor
  • Antuan Wilkerson, 36 years old , from Aurora, CO, a salesman
  • Enrique Jimenez, 48 years old, from Evans, CO, a manager for a delivery company
  • Juan Sanchez-Ramirez, 32 years old, from Denver, CO, a cook supervisor

If convicted, each man faces four to 12 years in prison.
