The Aurora Fire Department says two people were injured when an oven exploded at a business Monday morning.
Fire officials say about 100 people were inside the SR Originals & Ticklebelly Desserts commercial bakery when a large oven exploded. Two people were hurt, but their injuries were minor, according to AFD. One victim was taken to the hospital.
It happened at 2780 North Tower Road. That's near I-70 and Tower Road.
There was no actual fire as a result of the explosion, and there was no structural damage to the building, officials said. The business will be closed for the rest of the day and employees were sent home.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation, but it occurred during the normal morning baking at the business.
