Thirteen vehicles were involved in a crash early Wednesday evening at eastbound I-70 west of I-225, according to multiple city agencies.
The number of injured, as well as the extent of their injuries, is unknown at this time, according to an official with the Denver Police Department. Two lanes were closed, the official added.
The right lanes on I-70 were blocked, according to a CDOT official. By around 8:15 p.m., Denver Police said all lanes on EB I-70 were fully open west of I-225.
Multi car crash appears to be just before the turnoff for I-225 SB. Lots of flashing lights ahead... Long delays. pic.twitter.com/SjsmRcSJJL
