AURORA, Colo. -- Police are investigating a shooting in Aurora that occurred just before noon near Del Mar Circle, between 6th Avenue and Peoria Street.
Aurora Police said one victim was taken to the hospital, but did not survive.
The investigation into that shooting led Aurora officers to the Montbello neighborhood in Denver where an Aurora Police Officer was shot.
Aurora Police said the officer has non-life-threatening injuries.
