A family dog died after an Arvada home caught fire early Thursday morning, according to Arvada Fire Protection District officials.
The flames also displaced two people who were inside the house at the time.
The fire was reported in the area of West 74th Avenue and Teller Street by several neighbors at around 9 a.m., said Arvada Fire Protection District spokeswoman Amber Jones.
