DENVER – Judge Amy Coney Barrett is facing the first step in the U.S. Supreme Court nomination process as she sits for her first day of hearings in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Barrett will deliver her opening statements, as will the 22 members of the committee, with questioning expected to get underway on Tuesday.
According to CNN, each of the 22 members of the Senate Judiciary Committee will have 10 minutes to deliver their own opening statements ahead of Barrett's remarks.
