DENVER — A woman was shot and killed in northwest Denver Friday night.
According to Denver police, the woman was shot around 7:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of Bryant Street in Denver's Sunnyside neighborhood.
The woman, whose name and age has yet to be released, was transported to the hospital, but later succumbed to her injuries.
The events that led up to the shooting are not known. Police say they have no suspect information to release at this time.
The Sunnyside shooting came after police responded to a homicide in the 2900 block of Glencoe Streetin Denver's Park Hill neighborhood. Police have not connected the two incidents.
