DENVER — A violent Christmas weekend in Denver culminated in a deadly shooting in the Montbello neighborhood Sunday afternoon.

The Denver Police Department tweeted that officers were investigating a shooting near the intersection of Titan Court and Titan Way.

Police say a man, whose identity has not been released, was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. He was later pronounced deceased. No suspect information has been released.

The Montbello shooting is one of at least three violent incidents over the weekend that left four people dead and another injured.

Two people were shot and killed and a woman wounded in a triple shooting in the Lowry neighborhood early Saturday morning. Nicholas Dansby, 29, was arrested in connection with that shooting.

Later in the day Saturday, police discovered a homicide victim, an adult male, near a 7-Eleven in the 1900 block of East Colfax Avenue. Police have no suspect information to release at this time.

None of the incidents appear to be connected. The two murder suspects remain on the run.

The Denver Medical Examiner's Office is expected to release the names of the deceased in the coming days.
