COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A suspect in an overnight Colorado Springs double homicide was arrested Saturday morning, police said on Twitter.
Officers were responding to a shooting at a home in the area of Balboa and East La Salle Streets near Bonforte Park at around 12:41 a.m. when they discovered a man and a woman had been killed.
Detectives identified the suspect as 19-year-old Elijah Phillips and took him into custody at around 11 a.m. No other information was provided by police.
