LONGMONT, Colo. -- Several people staying in three different Longmont hotels over the Memorial Day weekend woke up to discover they had their tires slashed and police are now investigating.
The hotels targeted were Springhills Suites, Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott, said Longmont Police Department Sgt. Eric Lewis.
Approximately one to two car tires were slashed in nine different cars, Lewis said. One tail light was also busted out, according to Lewis.
Police said the crime appears to be random.
