Reward increased in racist graffiti investigation in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. -- Aurora Police are increasing the reward for information in a series of hate crimes.

Someone vandalized three separate apartment doors with racial slurs on December 10 and 11, police said.

It happened on South Rivera Court, near the Saddle Rock Golf Course.

The initial reward from Aurora Police and Metro Denver Crime Stoppers was up to $2,000.

"The Aurora Police Department Reward Fund is offering up to a $1,500 reward bringing the total to $3,500 for anyone who may have information about this crime and can help identify the suspect(s)," Aurora Police said on Facebook.
