AURORA, Colo. – The nicer weather appears to be bringing the Denver-area porch pirates back out in droves.

The Aurora Police Department released new video of a man captured on home surveillance video walking up to the home’s door and stealing a package in broad daylight.

The video was taken May 16 around 3 p.m. in the 18300 block of East Gunnison Place.

The suspect, a white male with long, brown hair, walked up, put the package in a reusable grocery bag, then got into the passenger seat of a silver, four-door sedan that appears to be a 2011-era Nissan Altima. The car had a bike rack and at least one mountain bike on the trunk.

Anyone with information about the crime or suspect is asked to call Aurora Police Department Detective David Lee at 303-739-6709 or Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP.
