LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Police in Lakewood are looking for at least two people who were involved in an apparent road rage shooting that led a crash on West Alameda Avenue Monday night.
According to Lakewood police, two vehicles involved in the incident were seen racing each other down Alameda near Harlan Street just before shots were fired.
The cars were a dark-colored Nissan Altima and a dark-colored PT Cruiser. Police say the Nissan driver fired 1-3 rounds toward the other car, which caused the PT Cruiser to crash.

After the crash, police say the driver of the PT Cruiser got out of the vehicle and fled into a nearby neighborhood. But later returned to the crashed car and drove off.
It's not clear if anyone was injured.
Authorities are now looking for the two vehicles, which both fled the scene. License plate information was not available, police say.
