DENVER – Investigators with the Denver Police Department are looking for answers in a deadly stabbing that happened on West Colfax Avenue early Thursday evening.
Initially, an official with the department tweeted officers were conducting a death investigation in the area of West Colfax at the intersection of Lowell Blvd.
It took the department about three hours to release more details about what had occurred.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., an official tweeted the death investigation was now considered a homicide and that an adult male had died in the stabbing.
No details about a suspect or motive have been released, but police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers of Metro Denver at (720) 913-7867.
The investigation is ongoing.
