DENVER – Denver Police are investigating a man’s death in north Denver after the injured victim reportedly crawled to a neighbor’s front porch to ask for help early Thanksgiving morning.
Neighbors in the area of East 43rd Avenue and Fillmore Street told police a man had crawled down on their front porch and was knocking on their door.
The man sustained gunshot wounds, according to a police officer on the scene.
When police arrived to the area, they found the man down on the porch, unresponsive and not breathing.
He was taken to a hospital where he was later reported as deceased.
There is no suspect information and one in custody at this time.
