ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — A Denver man out on bond for charges of internet luring was arrested again for allegedly committing the same crime, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday.
Jason Bruener, 36, was arrested for luring a child online and attempting to sexually assault her, the sheriff’s office said. He had been released on bond in November for a similar charge.
On Monday, Arapahoe County investigators say the 36-year-old chatted online with what he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Deputies said Bruener sent nude pictures of himself to the girl and asked her for photos. When he went to meet her, the suspect arrived at the agreed location but was greeted by deputies who arrested him.
Bruener was booked on charges of internet luring of a child, internet sexual exploitation of a child, criminal attempt sexual assault on a child and a bond violation for the October arrest in Jefferson County.
A booking photo was not available.
