AURORA, Colo. — Police are searching for whoever shot a 16-year-old who died in Aurora this week.
The Aurora Police Department said officers responded to the Aurora Town Center mall at about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report about someone stumbling around the parking lot.
When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. Police have not released the victim’s identity.
Police said there are no suspects in custody and they’d like to talk to anyone who may have witnessed the shooting.
