DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. – Deputies said Thursday a pharmacist who was arrested in late June on suspicion of sex assault in Teller County may have additional victims in neighboring Douglas County.

Brent Stein, 46, who deputies said is a pharmacist with Mountain Key Pharmacy in Florissant, was arrested June 21 on three counts of sexual assault by Teller County deputies but bonded out not long after.

It’s unclear how the suspect retained his employment at the pharmacy if his pharmacy license was suspended in early July. Repeated attempts by Denver7 to contact his last known employer were unsuccessful.

In a news release Thursday, Douglas County deputies said the sheriff’s office re-opened a 2016 sexual assault investigation on Aug. 26 that listed Stein as a suspect after Teller County detectives contacted the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office regarding other possible cases. The sheriff’s office said Stein worked at other pharmacies across the Denver metro area and may have additional victims in Douglas County.

Records show Stein not only lived and worked in Florissant, but also had addresses in Parker, Colorado Springs, Englewood, Lone Tree, Denver, Arvada and Northglenn.

If you recognize the suspect, you are asked to call Douglas County Detective Stephanie Dorrell (303) 814-7131 or Teller County Detective Y. Bisset at (719) 304-5756.
