DENVER — A person was transported to the hospital following a shooting south of the Auraria campus in Denver Friday night. The victim’s condition is unknown.
The Denver Police Department tweeted that the shooting occurred around 8 p.m. in the 1400 block of Lipan Street in Denver’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Police say they do not have any suspect information at this time.
The Lincoln Park shooting came just hours after a double shooting near Federal Boulevard and West 14th Avenue. Police have not connected the two incidents.
Police closed Lipan closed between 14th and Colfax while they investigate.
