DENVER – A woman was taken to a hospital after being shot near Interstate 25 and 20th Street, and Denver police are still looking for the suspect involved in the shooting.
“Preliminary information is that this may have started at I-25 and 20th,” said Denver Police Department spokesman John White.
Police did not release many details as officers are still investigating exactly what happened and what led to the shooting.
White did say they were looking for a Ford double cab truck, possibly maroon in color.
The suspect in this shooting is a white male with a beard wearing a gray, short-sleeve t-shirt, according to police.
The woman, who was contacted at 11th and Auraria Parkway, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
