DENVER -- A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Thursday evening, according to Denver Police Department officials.
The pedestrian was hit in the area of 12th Avenue and Broadway some time before 6:42 p.m.
Broadway was closed at 12th Avenue and police were advising drivers to expect delays in the area as officers investigated the scene of the crash.
Police said late Thursday they are looking for a white box type van, which may have a ladder on top and a headlight out.
