Officials ID woman killed in Christmas Day stabbing in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — Authorities released Monday the identity of a woman who was stabbed to death on Christmas Day in Aurora.

Joy Delucio, 20, died after sustaining multiple stab wounds, according to the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.

Around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Aurora police were called to a mobile home park in the 15700 block of East Colfax on reports of a stabbing.

After arriving on scene, officers found Delucio suffering from multiple stab wounds and was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

Police also found a man who had been stabbed. He was transported in critical condition to the hospital where he remains.

Investigators are trying to determine what led up to the stabbings and the relationship between the man and the woman. No arrests have been made.
