NORTHGLENN, Colo. -- Authorities are investigating an officer-Involved shooting in Northglenn Saturday night.
It all started when officers were dispatched to Carmela Lane on a report of an attempted kidnapping around 6:30 p.m., according to a press release issued by the Northglenn Police Department.
Officers spotted the suspect in a stolen car at 10701 Pecos Street near the Village by the Park Apartment complex but when they tried to make contact, the suspect rammed the officer's patrol car.
That's when they fired at, and hit, the suspect.
He was pronounced dead at Denver Health.
The 17th Judicial District Multi-Agency Critical Incident Investigation Team is heading up the investigation.
