DENVER – Police want those who parked along West 27th Avenue in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood, between Zuni and Clay, to check the sides of their cars.
DPD isn’t sure how many people were involved in keying more than 15 cars, but they are hoping surveillance video from nearby buildings can help them find out who’s responsible.
Denver7 cameras were there as several people found their vehicles with key marks along the driver’s side doors.

“I would never do something like this. So, I just don’t understand why people would do this,” said Frankie Tricarico.
He said he gave his friend the green-light to park along West 27th Avenue the night before. Tricarico added, “I’m about to call and tell him, and he’s going to be mad at me.”
The suspect, or suspects, only targeted cars on the north side of the road.
