Medina Alert issued for 4-door Hyundai or Nissan vehicle following hit-and-run in Glendale

UPDATE | Thursday, 11:20 a.m. — A Medina Alert has been canceled in connection to a deadly hit-and-run.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said both the vehicle and suspect have been located. No other details were available as of Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

GLENDALE, Colo. – Police in Glendale are looking for your help to find a driver who reportedly hit a pedestrian and left them for dead before leaving the scene of the crash.

The deadly hit-and-run happened on S. Leetsdale Drive and S. Cherry Street sometime before 6 p.m. Monday. Leetsdale Drive was closed between Cherry St. and Alameda while investigators combed the scene.

A Medina Alert was issued at 7:21 p.m. for a four-door, white Hyundai or Nissan vehicle with partial Colorado license plate 118.

Colorado Bureau of Investigation officials say the vehicle has heavy front end and windshield damage.
