DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating a shooting that wounded a man in the southwest area of the city Monday afternoon.
The shooting occurred in the 2500 block of South Osceola Street, several blocks southwest from the intersection of West Evans Avenue and South Federal Boulevard.
An adult male suffering from a gunshot wound was located at the scene, the Denver Police Department said in a tweet. Paramedics transported the victim in an unknown condition to the hospital for treatment.
The circumstances that led to the shooting is not known at this time. Investigators are working to develop suspect information, the tweet read.
