Man wanted in Denver Super 8 Motel homicide remains at-large, police say

DENVER – A man wanted in connection with a homicide at a Super 8 Motel in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood remains at-large, Denver police said Monday.

Michael Steven Harrison, 51, was identified by Denver police as a possible suspect in the death of a man whose body was found early Friday afternoon inside one of the rooms of the Super 8 Motel located near the intersection of E. 36th Ave. and Quebec St.

Police said the victim was an adult male who appeared to have been assaulted, and they believed both the victim and suspect knew each other. The circumstances of the man’s death remain under investigation.

Harrison, who is wanted for one count of first-degree murder, was last known to be driving a 2002 blue or silver convertible Mercedes with Florida license plate WJQ2K.

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified the victim Tuesday as Nathan McBride, 42, and said his cause of death was blunt force injuries and manner of death was homicide.
