EAGLE, Colo. (AP) — A man has pleaded guilty to stealing a Sno-Cat from a Colorado restaurant's parking lot last March.

Jason Cuervo entered the guilty plea to aggravated motor vehicle theft on Monday. Eagle County Court Judge Rachel Fresquez scheduled sentencing on Dec. 18.

The Vail Daily reports that Cuervo, who remains in custody at the Jefferson County jail, was accused of stealing the Sno-Cat early on the morning of March 11 in Minturn. Authorities say Cuervo hitched the Sno-Cat and trailer to the back of his small pickup truck and hauled it to Grand Junction.

The Sno-Cat has since been returned to its owner.
