ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- A man died after a shooting late Saturday on South Acoma Street west of Broadway.
Officers responded to the area on a reports of shots fired around 8:39 p.m., according to a press release from the Englewood Police Department.
Officers found a man with several gunshot wounds laying on the ground. The 33-year-old man later died at a local hospital.
The victim's name was not released.
"Due to the active on-going investigation, we are unable to provide any further information at this time," according to a press release from the Englewood Police Department.
South Acoma Street remained closed early Sunday as detectives continued to investigate.
