DENVER — A Denver Police command post was the target when police say Kairo Alejandres-Vizcaino unleashed a barrage of bullets from his semi-automatic handgun Saturday night.
The 21-year-old was arrested after police say he attempted to elude officers, ran a stop sign and crashed into a police vehicle following the shooting outside the Denver Police Department command post set up in southwest Denver.
No injuries were reported.
Alejandres-Vizcaino was in Denver District Court Friday and charged with six counts of attempted murder-extreme indifference and one count of vehicular eluding.
A possible motive for the shooting was not released.
His next scheduled court appearance is set for May 15.
