BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — A 48-year-old Colorado man has pleaded not guilty in the strangulation death of his wife that was recorded on a surveillance camera’s audio.

The Daily Camera reports Scott B. Jones entered the plea Friday to a single count of first-degree murder in Boulder District Court. His trial is scheduled to begin on Dec. 9.

Jones is accused of killing 44-year-old Deborah De Pinto last June 18 at a mobile home park office just outside Boulder.

According to an affidavit, police found surveillance footage that showed Jones and De Pinto entering the office arguing and gesturing angrily. The two are seen moving off camera but audio picked up the two arguing, a female screaming and sounds of a physical struggle.

Jones remains in custody at the Boulder County Jail without bond.
