DENVER -- Authorities are asking for your help to find a wanted sex offender who has been on the run for nearly two years.
David Harold Rainey, 50, was convicted of sex assault on a child in 1997 and criminal sex in 1988.
A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Denver Police Department on Jan. 20, 2015.
Rainey, who also goes by the name David Dempsey, is described as white, measuring 5-foot-4 and weighing around 170 pounds.
Rainey has brown eyes and brown hair.
