Fugitive Friday: Helping to capture this crafty 'bicycle bandit' could earn you $2,000

DENVER — A crafty bandit is on the loose after being implicated in five robberies and making his escape on a bicycle.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now involved in the police search for an unidentified white male between 30 and 50-years-old who officers say is behind four bank robberies and an ATM robbery.

Police describe the man as about six-feet-tall, thin and with hair that is balding, or is salt-and-pepper colored.

The suspect may have tattoos on his arms, but frequently covers much of his skin in the robberies.

During the robberies, police say the man demands money from bank and ATM employees, receives money, then flees on a bicycle.

Nobody has seen the man wield a weapon, however police say the suspect can be considered dangerous.

A reward of up to $2,000 is available for anybody who can help police solve this case. Call tips in to 720-913-7867.
