DENVER – The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in finding one of the state’s most-wanted sex offenders.
Michael Wayne Kline, who also goes by “James Williams,” is wanted out of Boulder County for failing to register as a sex offender. The 44-year-old man had a warrant issued for his arrest out of Boulder County for failing to register in June 2015.
Kline was convicted in 1999 of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, though the conviction was in a different state, according to Colorado court records.
Kline was most-recently seen by Colorado authorities when he pleaded guilty to false reporting in April 2015.
Kline is a white male who is described as 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, with blue eyes and gray hair. He is the state’s No. 23 most-wanted sex offender.
