GOLDEN, Colo. — Four people have been charged with murder in the killing of a 23-year-old man in Wheat Ridge last January, officials announced on Thursday.

Jonathan Joseph Montoya, 18; Jalen Isiah Wilson, 17; and Christian Salas, 18, have been arrested in the case. Marissa Lawrence, 19, remained at large on Thursday afternoon, according to the First Judicial District Attorney's office.

All four were charged with first-degree murder, along with several other charges, including attempted aggravated robbery.

Police were called on Jan. 26, 2019 to the 3200 block of Gray Street in Wheat Ridge, where they found Ervin Spahitch, 23, dead in a Toyota Prius that was still running, a news release said. Police found bullet holes in the car and shell casings on the ground, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Wheat Ridge police and the Jefferson County District Attorney's office investigated the killing. More information was not released.
