DENVER – The Denver Police Department is now investigating a shooting that happened late Wednesday just south of the CommonGround Golf Course as a homicide.
The shooting, which happened at an apartment complex in the 400 block of South Galena Way – just south of Alameda Avenue – took place around 10 p.m. One person was shot.
Police would only say Wednesday night they were investigating a shooting, but said Thursday morning the shooting was being investigated as a homicide.
No information on the victim or any possible suspects has so far been released.
