Denver police search for hit-and-run vehicle after pedestrian is struck in Five Points neighborhood

DENVER — Denver police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who left the scene of a crash in the Five Points neighborhood Wednesday evening.

The crash involving a pedestrian happened near the intersection of 22nd and Curtis Streets in the Five Points neighborhood just before 8 p.m.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with possibly serious injuries, police said in a tweet. The condition of the person is unknown at this time.

Police said they’re looking for a black, 2003 GMC Yukon bearing Colorado license plate number 039-ZJC. The vehicle is said to have dark-tinted windows and stickers on the back window.
