UPDATE | The woman police believed was kidnapped by her boyfriend early Wednesday morning was found safe later in the afternoon. No arrests have been made at this time.

DENVER — Police in Denver are looking for a woman who was allegedly kidnapped by her boyfriend early Wednesday morning.

Police said the 20-year-old woman was thought to have been forcefully taken by her boyfriend, 24-year-old Simon Gurule, around 4:30 a.m. near the 3000 block of West 39th Avenue.

Authorities issued an arrest warrant for Gurule and are working to locate the pair.

Gurule is described as a 5’10” tall Hispanic male with hazel eyes and black hair. He has tatoos on his neck.
