DENVER — Police in Denver are looking for a man they say robbed and assaulted an 81-year-old woman waiting for a bus.

On Friday, Crime Stoppers released a sketch of the man wanted on charges of robbery and aggravated assault to an at-risk adult.

The attack occurred on Jan. 14 around 8 p.m.

Police say the victim was waiting for a bus on South Monaco Parkway at East Dakota Avenue when the man assaulted and robbed her.

After the attack, the man fled the scene north toward Alameda Avenue, according to a Crime Stoppers release.

The man is described as a white male of Hispanic descent, approximately 5-feet, 4-inches tall, medium build and was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters are eligible for a reward if the suspect is captured and brought to justice.
