DENVER – One person is dead following a shooting in west Denver that involved an armed RTD personnel, Denver Police said Wednesday evening.
Police responded to the RTD station on West 9th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard following reports of a shooting at around 7:30 p.m.
The person was taken to a local hospital, but was declared dead just before 9 p.m., per a tweet from the Denver Police Department.

Denver7 was not immediately able to confirm what led to the shooting. No suspect is at-large, according to police.
