Denver police asking for public's help identifying sexual assault suspect

DENVER — Police are searching for a Hispanic man in his 40s who is suspected of sexual assault with a gun.

Denver police is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who is accused of sexual assault with a gun around 2:30 p.m. in the area of 3100 Sheridan Boulevard Wednesday.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 40s, standing around 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a muscular build, police said. He has short black hair with some graying. At the time, he was wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, red shoes, a large gold belt buckle and a chain with a gold cross. He spoke very little English.
