DENVER – Four Denver Police officers were injured, and three police vehicles were damaged during an incident involving three suspects Tuesday morning.
Police have not been forthcoming with details surrounding the incident, including how the officers were injured. However, Denver Police say it involved a possible stolen vehicle.
It appears the suspects rammed the police vehicles in an attempt to get away. But officers managed to take control of the situation and placed the three suspects into custody. Their names and potential charges have not been released.
There are two possible scenes connected to the episode, which apparently began at the Quality Inn, 200 West 48th Avenue, around 10 a.m. The suspects were taken into custody near East 58th Avenue and Broadway. Police say the officers’ injuries were minor, and they were treated at the scene.
No other details were immediately available.
