AURORA, Colo. — The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died in a fatal shooting outside an Aurora 7-Eleven.
The coroner’s office performed an autopsy on 29-year-old Carlos Obryna Henry, 29, who died on Sept. 2 after he was shot in the Aurora parking lot.
He died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the coroner’s office. His death is classified as a homicide.
Aurora police are still looking for the suspect in this shooting, which occurred Sunday around 1:30 p.m. at 13690 E. Alameda Ave.
That afternoon, a local hospital alerted police that several people had made their way to the hospital with gunshot wounds. It is unclear how many people in total were injured.
Members of the Aurora Police Department’s Major Crimes/Homicide Unit is investigating, alongside detectives to identify a suspect or suspects.
