Colorado Springs police obtain warrants for 2 men after 'potential' human remains found

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Police have obtained arrest warrants for two men linked to the discovery of possible human remains in the northern part of the city.

Colorado Springs police are looking for Craig Ryan Brown, 34, and J. Timothy Brown, 51, after discovering the possible remains on the morning of Sept. 25 in the 2500 block of North Cascade Ave.

The warrants charge the two with first-degree criminal trespass, conspiracy and abuse of a corpse.

Police have so far not released details regarding the crime scene or alleged crimes, only saying the “potential” human remains were stored in the building on North Cascade Avenue.

Police were tipped off to “suspicious circumstances,” according to the department.
