Colorado man accused of throwing toddler into traffic due in court Tuesday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The man accused of throwing his 2-year-old cousin into oncoming traffic last Friday is due in court for his preliminary hearing Tuesday.

Bryant Hickcox, 30, faces attempted murder and other related charges after he allegedly threw the toddler onto the street near Academy Boulevard and Airport Road around 9 p.m. Friday.

Drivers were able to avoid the young boy, who suffered no injuries.

Hickcox remained jailed Monday in El Paso County on a $50,000 bond as he awaits his Tuesday court appearance.
