Arvada police: Man held knife at store employee, forced her to walk around before leaving

ARVADA, Colo. – Police in Arvada need your help to find a man suspected of forcing an employee to walk around a clothing store at knife-point.

Police do not yet have a clear picture of what happened, but said he was in a store near W. 52nd Avenue and Vance Street acting strange.

When a female employee approached the man, he produced a knife and started forcing the woman to walk around the store at knife-point, according to Arvada Police Detective David Snelling.

This happened at around 7:15 p.m., police said.

It’s not clear how the woman was able to get a way, but Snelling said she sustained a cut from the incident. The man got away without stealing anything, according to police.
