NEDERLAND, Colo. — Authorities have made an arrest in a home explosion that happened in Nederland earlier this month.
Jason Korte faces charges of arson and manufacture and possession of explosives, along with marijuana-related charges, including illegal extraction of marijuana concentrate using an inherently dangerous substance, Nederland officials said Tuesday.
The explosion happened on July 3 in the 200 block of Alpine Drive, according to the Nederland Fire Protection District. A home sprinkler system put the fire out, and one person was taken to a hospital with burns.
Authorities are still investigating the incident and more information was not released Tuesday.
