After long investigation, Logan County authorities make arrest in murder-for-hire scheme

LOGAN COUNTY, Colo. — Two days after his 54th birthday, a man was arrested in connection to an alleged murder-for-hire scheme in Logan County.

On Monday, Randall Lee Lawson, 54, was arrested after a lengthy investigation by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. He was arrested at the Logan County Jail, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

Lawson faces a solicitation of first-degree murder charge, which is a Class 2 felony.

According to court documents, the solicitation of murder occurred on Oct. 29, 2018.
