AURORA, Colo. — An affidavit obtained by Denver7 Thursday sheds more light onto the arrest of a 24-year-old man accused of raping two 17-year-old girls in Aurora last month.

The document also reveals some disturbing details, including the accusation that one of the victims was attacked on school grounds in broad daylight.

Police say DNA evidence led authorities to Ble Ghislain Kore, 24, who was arrested Tuesday.

According to a release from the Aurora Police Department, the two sex assaults happened on the afternoon of Sept. 13.

The first occurred in the 2100 block of South Vaughn Way; the second assault was in the 12400 block of East Jewell Avenue – the address of Overland High School.

Police accuse Kore in the documents of raping a 17-year-old girl against the wall adjacent to the front doors of Overland High School. The victim told police that “no one else was around to see or hear what was going on.” The attack occurred around 4:45 p.m., the document says.

The victim said Kore immediately confronted her as she was leaving school and told her that he was a new student and was waiting for a friend at football practice.

According to the documents, the victim said Kore kept getting closer to her until she was backed up against the wall. She tried to get away but Kore was pushing her up against the wall, the affidavit says.

About two hours before the alleged assault at Overland High School, another 17-year-old student was approached by the suspect, the affidavit reveals.

Surveillance video from Overland High School showed the suspect approach the first victim in a Volkswagen Passat as she was walking home from school, the affidavit says.

According to the affidavit, Kore told the victim to get into his car and threatened the victim that something might happen to her mother if she didn’t cooperate because he had someone watching her mother’s home.

After the victim got into the suspect’s car, Kore drove to a parking lot near where the victim lives and sexually assaulted the girl inside his vehicle, according to the court documents.

Initially, investigators did not believe the two incidents were related due to discrepancies in the suspect’s description, including the vehicle involved, the police news release read.

However, investigators worked with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to expedite DNA testing results, which linked the two assaults.

The Aurora Police Department said it is very concerned about the potential of other victims, both in and outside of Aurora.

Police are asking for any additional victims to come forward and report that information by calling Sergeant Rudy Herrera at 303-739-6250.

Kore is facing two counts of sexual assault, a class 2 felony. He remains in custody.
