EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. – Four more suspects were arrested in connection with the alleged murder of two Colorado Springs teens found dead near Fountain last week.
Diego Chacon, 19; Joseph Arthur Rodriquez, 18; Marco Antonio Garcia-Bravo, 20; and Alexandra Marie Romero, 20, were being held at the Criminal Justice Center on several charges:
Chacon was booked on two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree kidnapping as well as one count of aggravated robbery and one count of child abuse. Authorities said Saturday Chacon was previously booked on drug and weapons charges to include possession with intent to distribute and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
Rodriquez was booked on two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree kidnapping as well as one count of aggravated robbery, one count of child abuse and one count for accessory. Rodriquez was also previously booked by the Sheriff's Office on kidnapping charges, authorities said.
Garcia-Bravo was booked on two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree kidnapping as well as one count of aggravated robbery and one count for child abuse.
Romero was booked on charges of one count of second-degree kidnapping and one count for accessory.
Authorities had been looking for Chacon, who also goes by “Casper,” after the arrest of Gustavo Antonio Marquez, 19, last Sunday. Marquez was booked on charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping, aggravated robbery and child abuse.
While officials say the investigation is ongoing, they believe they have the key suspects in this case. But, they warned, this may not preclude additional arrests as the case continues to unfold.
Derek Greer, 15, and Natalie Partida, 16, were found dead the morning of March 12 along the side of Old Pueblo Road, about three-quarters of a mile south of Hanover Road. Investigators have not said how the teens were killed.
Anyone with information on this case should call the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 719-390-5555.
